It is only making good bets and there is no best method, system, theory or strategy and there is no secret formula to handicapping or betting because every race and situation is different. It is a game of choice as well as decision making and as much as we are looking for a probable winner. Choices and decisions making apply to anything and everything we do and usually it is based on our own point of view. We make choices and decisions for different reasons and at different times. Whatever choices and decisions we make it is at our peril. No one can tell us beyond reasonable doubt that it is a mistake.
Knowledge, knowing, homework, research and not unless it is genuine firsthand information is the key to anything and anything else is speculatiion, guessing, hearsay, groundless talk, coffee-shop talk, gossip, rumour, propaganda, unsubstantiated information and marketing stunts
